Get ready for LBA’s First Annual Belize Surf and Turf End of Year Bash!
You’ll get the full tropical Belizean experience, with jungle trekking, sea kayaking, island excursions, Mayan ruin exploration, and more!
Be prepared for your trip so you can enjoy it to the fullest.
Researching your destination, reading about the local culture, and learning some key phrases of the country’s language can help you feel confident in your ability to travel the world, even if it’s your first time leaving the country.
Here are some quick tips to help you prepare for your trip:
For questions about your trip, you may contact your trip leader, or send us an email at info@lifebreakadventures.com
Anyone over 18 can travel with LBA. We encourage those from all walks of life, at any age, and with any level of travel experience to join us on our life-changing adventures.
View your chosen trip’s webpage for a list of what is included, as well as a day-by-day itinerary for the full trip. Included in most LBA trips are accommodations, ground transportation, full-time guide and assistance, daily breakfast, welcome and farewell dinners, and entry to venues included in the itinerary (unless optional).
You will need a passport to travel outside of the country you reside in. Make sure to apply well in advance of your chosen trip, as it can take anywhere between 4–6 weeks unless expedited. Learn more from the Department of State at their website.
Individual deposits and first payments made by travelers are non-refundable in the case of individual cancellation.
In the case the program is cancelled 100 days prior to departure, due to low enrollment (not reaching the agreed minimum of participants), all participants will be provided a full refund including deposit.
No refunds will be provided if cancellations are made after the 100 day deadline.
Check with your bank to see if they have international fees for using your card, or if they will reimburse your ATM fees. Many banks charge fees for card usage abroad, so to save money, consider using cash during your trip. We recommend never carrying a large amount of cash on you, so keep a small amount on hand for use between intermittent ATM withdrawals.
Every trip has a dedicated trip leader who is experienced and vetted by LBA for their ability to successfully lead trips and is available 24/7. We also use local tour guides for some portions of trips to ensure that you are receiving the most authentic experience.
